National Unity Day Observes at GDC Khaltsi.
Government Degree College Khaltsi commemorated the 150th birth anniversary of India’s first Home Minister, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.
The event commenced with a pledge to remain drug-free, reinforcing the commitment of students and staff towards building a healthy and progressive society. This was followed by a lecture by Dr Shah Nawaz, Assistant Professor of Political Science, who highlighted Sardar Patel’s life, vision, and his pivotal role in the unification and nation-building of India.
The celebration concluded with a Unity March, in which students and faculty members participated wholeheartedly, raising slogans that celebrated the spirit of “Unity in Diversity.”
The program reflected the enduring relevance of Sardar Patel’s ideals and inspired everyone to uphold national integrity and social harmony.
