    ๐‹๐ž๐ก, ๐‰๐š๐ง ๐Ÿ”, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’: In an effort to address the low utilization of funds under the Capex Budget 2023-24, Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve chaired a meeting on January 6 at the Conference Hall of the DC office in Leh.
    During the meeting, Heads of Departments (HoDs) and executing agencies presented a comprehensive overview of their expenditure funds and the current status of surrendered capex budgets for various schemes. The meeting also discussed the reasons behind the non-utilization of allocated funds in each scheme.
    Expressing concern over the underutilization of funds, DC Leh issued directions to all concerned officers to complete all pending works by the end of January. He emphasized the importance of achieving a 100% completion rate for all outstanding projects within the stipulated time frame.
    Furthermore, DC Leh urged the attending officers to submit bills promptly and ensure the judicious use of allocated funds. Further, he emphasized on utilizing the funds efficiently and in a manner that aligns with the intended purposes outlined in the capex budget.
    The meeting was attended by all Heads of Departments and executing agencies.
