1 positive case reported in UT Ladakh; 7 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Oct 12: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, one new positive sample report of Covid-19 were received yesterday. While a total of 638 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 332 and Kargil: 306 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged seven patients yesterday, all were discharged from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 46; 43 in Leh and 3 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1535 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 280 and 168 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts
