116 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 137 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Apr 29: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 116 positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 111 reports were received by CMO Leh and five positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 137 patients yesterday. Out of which 127 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and ten patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 1682; 1585 in Leh district and 97 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 992 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 50 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Tuesday and five passengers of one light motor vehicle were screened at screening point Upshi on Tuesday.
