13th Bn NDRF conducts school safety program in Kargil.

Kargil, August 07, 2023: A school safety program was conducted today at Mutahary Public Higher Secondary School Kargil and Jaffriya Academy of Modern Education Kargil, in which 13th Bn NDRF, Ludhiana imparted training on basic Disaster Management to the students and the staff members of the school.
The program was conducted by 13th Bn NDRF, Ludhiana in collaboration with District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Kargil.
The training was imparted to students by master trainer Devinder Singh and his team regarding first aid, bandaging, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), etc.
On the occasion, the officers of 13th Bn NDRF besides teaching, non-teaching staff of the higher secondary schools, DDMA officials, students also attended the program.
The school administration of both schools lauded the efforts of the DDMA Kargil for organizing the program. They also thanked the 13th Bn NDRF Ludhiana for imparting training to students for enhancing the capacity of local community in future.
