15 new positive cases reports in UT Ladakh; 6 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Aug 26: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 15 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, 12 in Leh and three in Kargil. While a total of 1816 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 898 and Kargil: 918 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged six patients yesterday and all were discharged from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 64; 51 in Leh and 13 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2292 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 136 and 341 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
