2-day Circuit Sitting conducted by CAT Srinagar Bench concludes in Kargil.
Kargil, October 22, 2024: The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) Srinagar Bench conducted its first two-day Circuit Sitting which concluded at TFC, Baroo, Kargil.
The initiative was aimed to resolve service matters locally, providing easier access to justice for Kargil residents.
The Division Bench of CAT, comprising of Hon’ble Mir Syed Latif, Judicial Member, and Honble Prasant Kumar, Administrative Member, held a Circuit Bench at Kargil in hybrid mode, allowing cases to be heard both physically and virtually for greater accessibility.
The total cases listed before the Bench on the second day were 52. Out of the total 52 cases listed 19 cases (04 TA, 09 OA’s, 02 CP, 04 MA’s) were disposed of.
