2 positive cases reported in UT Ladakh; 2 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Oct 20: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, two new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. While a total of 587 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh:268 and Kargil: 317 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged two patients yesterday and one was discharged by CMO Leh and one by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 34; all 34 in Leh district.
The bulletin further informs that 836 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 108 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check posts
