3-day training on food advertising, preservation techniques begins in Kargil.
Kargil, October 24, 2024: A three-day training program on “Effective Food Advertising and Preservation Techniques for Entrepreneurs” began today at Conference Hall Baroo, Kargil.
The program was organized by the Department of Industries & Commerce, UT Ladakh, in collaboration with Quality Council of India (QCI) to enhance local entrepreneurship skills.
The program was attended by General Manager, DIC Kargil, Rehmatullah Bhat; Functional Manager, Mudasir Rahowf Wani; Functional Manager, Showkat Ahmad; Assistant Professor GDC Drass, Shujat Ali; a team from QCI including Associate Manager, Sarvesh Kumar; Coordinator, Surbhi Tripathi; Coordinator, Shritika Mishra; External Faculty, Rini Sanyal.
While speaking on the occasion, General Manager DIC Kargil, Rehmatullah Bhat emphasized the importance of packaging and labelling. He expressed hope that the program would benefit the participants greatly.
He urged participants to utilize the training to highlight Ladakh’s rich heritage and unique flavours through effective packaging and labelling strategies, enhancing the region’s food products in the market.
The program witnessed active participation from entrepreneurs, Self-Help Group (SHG) members and students from GDC Drass.
The experts from QCI provided in-depth insights on introduction and importance of food packaging, labelling and branding, objectives of food packaging etc.
The experts addressed participants’ queries and concerns, offering practical guidance on implementing best practices in advertising and preservation.
