4 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 9 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Aug 17: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, four new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, three in Leh and one in Kargil. While a total of 2509 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 934 and Kargil: 1575 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged nine patients yesterday, two from Leh and seven from Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 77; 65 in Leh and 12 in Kargil district.

The bulletin further informs that 1538 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 134 and 454 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
