5 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 2 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Oct 09: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, two new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. While a total of 811 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 420 and Kargil: 386 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged two patients yesterday, both were discharged from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 60; 57 in Leh and 3 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1406 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 200 and 124 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
