8 positive cases reported in UT Ladakh; 2 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Oct 28: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, eight new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of which 6 positive samples reports were received by CMO Leh and 2 received by CMO Kargil. While a total of 276 sample reports in UT Ladakh. Leh:244 and Kargil: 23 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged two patients yesterday by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 47; all 43 in Leh and 4 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 849 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 40 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post.
