    Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra held at Tumail, Akchamal.

    Kargil, Dec 14: As part of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), a program was organized today at Tumail Panchayat Halqa and Akchamal, in Block Sodh.
    Concerned BDO/Day Nodal Officer, along with Sarpanches, and officials from Agriculture, RD&PRD, Health, Social Welfare, Food and Supplies, Handloom, Fisheries, Cooperative Societies, NRLM, and other line departments, actively engaged in the program at both places.
    At the event, officers engaged with eligible citizens under various welfare schemes, providing information and promoting awareness about government-sponsored public-centric programs.
    Experts from different departments and institutions including agriculture, horticulture, ICDS, Health, Social Welfare, NRLM, Handloom, etc. held interactive sessions with the locals wherein they were informed about the procedures to avail these welfare schemes.
    At the Tumail health camp, seven Ayushman Golden cards, seven Ayushman Bharath Health Account (ABHA) IDs and 10 Aadhaar Cards were issued.
    At the Akchamal health camp, nine golden cards, six ABHA IDs, eight Aadhaar Cards were issued to the legible beneficiaries.
    During the camps, the officials of the Health Department briefed people about the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, highlighting its mission and healthcare schemes. The camp drew significant public participation.
    The VBSY aims to take welfare schemes of the government to every doorstep, reaching out to the remotest Panchayat and village, and the last man in the queue without any discrimination.
