ADC Kargil chairs meeting ahead of LS Election-2024.

Kargil, March 15, 2024: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, Suhail Ahmed, who is also Nodal Officer MCC, today chaired a meeting with the representatives of Political Parties regarding MCC guidelines in his office chamber for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
The meeting was attended by Nodal Officer Election Expenditure/Chief Accounts Officer, District Funds Office, Kargil, Iftikhar Hussain; Nodal Officer, IT Applications/District Informatics officer, NIC, Kargil, Iftikhar Hussain and representatives of Political Parties.
ADC Kargil briefed the representatives of Political Parties in detail about the ECI guidelines regarding MCC. He also informed about the restrictions during MCC to the representatives of Political Parties.
During the meeting, Nodal Officer Election Expenditure/Chief Accounts Officer, District Funds Office, Kargil, Iftikhar Hussain also briefed about the Election Expenditure Monitoring (EMM) to the representatives of Political Parties.
He also details about the ECI guidelines regarding various expenditures during MCC.
Informatics officer, NIC, Kargil, Iftikhar Hussain, presented PPT on apps and portals used in elections.
He briefed about the various apps and portals including Samvida Portal, which is used for online nomination and permission by the candidates.
