Interschool Tournament begins at Taisuru Spang, brings together students from various schools.

Kargil, June 11, 2024: The much-anticipated Inter-school Tournament 2024 commenced today with a vibrant opening ceremony at Taisuru Spang, bringing together students from various schools to celebrate sportsmanship, talent, and unity.
The Zonal Physical Education Officer Taisuru, Mohd Ishaq officially inaugurated the tournament with an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of sports in fostering teamwork, discipline, and resilience among students.
He encouraged all participants to give their best while maintaining respect and fairness on and off the field.
The Department received a massive response from the young players of different Government and private School throughout the Zone. For the 6 day-long-tournament more than 80 teams for U14, U17, U19 Boys and Girl team from 30 government and private schools of Taisuru Zone will showcase their brilliant performances in Major Games and Athletics.
The Interschool Tournament 2024 features a wide array of sports, including soccer, volleyball, handball, 100m sprints, 3m race and 10km Race. Students from all age groups will compete over the next six days, demonstrating their skills, determination, and sportsmanship.
The ceremony, attended by student players, Athletes, teachers, and local dignitaries, was a spectacular showcase of the spirit of competition and camaraderie that defines this annual event. The event began with a grand parade featuring the participating schools, each displaying their unique banners and colors, creating a lively and festive atmosphere.
