GDC Nobra focuses on New Education Policy 2020.
Nobra, August 24,2024: The Career Counselling Committee of Government Degree College Nobra organized an induction program focused on the New Education Policy 2020 on August 24. The program aimed to acquaint students with the revised course structure, examination patterns, credit requirements, and other academic guidelines introduced under NEP 2020.
The event commenced with an introduction by Assistant Professor Stanzin Padma, Convenor of the Career Counselling Committee. This was followed by a formal address from Dr. Tsewang Motup, Principal GDC Nobra, who underscored the significance of understanding NEP 2020 for all students. Dr. Motup briefly outlined key academic regulations associated with the policy.
Assistant Professor Stanzin Itga then delivered a detailed presentation on NEP 2020, covering the various courses offered and explaining the distribution of credits and marks. She also highlighted important information regarding the grading system, attendance requirements, and eligibility criteria for progressing to the next semesters.
The program saw enthusiastic participation from both staff and students. The students engaged in group discussions, making the session interactive and informative. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Assistant Professor Stanzin Padma.
