Massive Cleanliness Drive at office of ACD Leh.
A massive cleanliness drive was conducted today in and around the office compound of the Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) in Leh under the banner of ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ campaign 2024. During the programme, approximately 1.5 quintals of garbage were collected emphasizing the importance of maintaining cleanliness in public spaces.
In addition to the cleanliness drive, all participants took a pledge to make cleanliness a consistent part of their daily lives. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from ACD Leh A.G. Zargar, District Panchayat Officer Leh Junaid Amin, Executive Engineer REW Leh Sh Abbas, Block Development Officer Leh Sameena Khatoon and all the officials of Rural Development Department, showcasing a strong commitment towards creating a cleaner and healthier environment.
