Inauguration of LAHDC RTT Extension Program for select Cohort of Teachers.
Leh, 28th September 2024: The LAHDC Reinforced Teachers Training (RTT) Extension Program for a selected cohort of 60-62 exceptional teachers was inaugurated today at DIET Leh. The event was graced by Hon’ble Deputy Chairman Tsering Angchuk, Director of Education Ladakh Tsering Paldan (JKAS), Program Director of Goldenmile (Edu) Dr. Neepa Oza, Chief Education Officer and Principal DIET Leh.
Since August 2022, over 352 English teachers across Ladakh have undergone comprehensive training under the RTT program, completing a series of intensive, phase-wise sessions designed to enhance classroom skills and pedagogy. The newly inaugurated extension program aims to provide further specialized training to the 60 bright and dedicated teachers from this pool who were selected based on their performance throughout the program.
The extension program marks a significant milestone in the region’s educational initiatives, as these selected teachers will serve as leaders and mentors, contributing to the continued improvement of the teaching ecosystem in Ladakh.
The LAHDC, in collaboration with Directorate of Education and Goldenmile, remains committed to the empowerment and professional growth of teachers in Ladakh, ensuring quality education for future generations.
