Kargil, Sept 28, 2024: Block Development Office Kargil today organized a cleanliness drive at Minjee Gound as part of the “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign.
The event was aimed to raise awareness among the general public about the significance of cleanliness and responsibility everyone shares toward maintaining a clean environment.
BDO Kargil, Tsering Angchuk along with Panchayat Secretary Minjee, Mohd Ishaq and staff from Rural Development Department Kargil, actively participated in the initiative. A large number of villagers joined in, demonstrating their commitment to cleanliness by enthusiastically taking part in the drive.
During the event, BDO Kargil addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of keeping the surroundings clean for the well-being of the community. He expressed gratitude to villagers for their active involvement and support in making the cleanliness drive successful.
In addition to the clean-up efforts, participants took the Swachhta Hi Seva pledge, committing to uphold cleanliness and environmental responsibility in their daily lives.
