Chief Agriculture Office hosts live stream of Hon’ble Prime Minister’s address for 18th Installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
Kargil, October 05, 2024: In the view of release of 18th instalment PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to farmers of the nation, an event was organized today at Chief Agriculture office in collaboration with Agriculture Department, to witness the live streaming of PM KISAN flagship scheme by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi live from Washim, Maharashtra.
A large number of farmers from nearby villages along with extension workers participated in the programme. After the end of the live telecast of the PM Kisan flagship scheme, the participants were briefed about the purpose of the live telecast in local dialect and the benefit of the PM Kisan scheme by the KVK scientist.
The farmer’s scientist interaction was also held during the programme to disseminate the latest agro climate suitable technologies to the farmers.
Dr. Nasreen Fatima Kacho Senior Scientist and Head in his concluding remarks congratulated farmers for the active participation and instructed them to remain in touch with the Kendra for technical guidance for good crop yield and returns.
