    MP Ladakh Mohmad Haneefa Jan visits Govt. Model Degree College, Zanskar.
    Kargil, October 19, 2024: Member of Parliament for Ladakh, Mohmad Haneefa Jan on Saturday visited Government Model Degree College, Zanskar where he inaugurated the newly constructed staff quarter.
    He was accompanied by EC, RDD, PRI, ZDA and Information, LAHDC, Kargil, Er Punchok Tashi, ADC Kargil, Ghulam Mohi-Ud-Din Wani, Councilor, Karsha Constituency, Stanzin Jigmat, SDM Zanskar, Romil Singh Donk and Sub-Divisional level officers.
    The MP was warmly welcomed by the College’s Principal Mohd Ishaq and was briefed about the facilities that are available and ongoing works at the college.
    The Member of Parliament inaugurated the newly constructed all employees’ staff quarter at the college and inspected various ongoing projects.
    While addressing the gathering, the MP expressed satisfaction over the available learning resources and infrastructure at the college. He advised students to work hard and utilize the resources to their satisfaction.
    During his visit, Mohmad Haneefa Jan interacted with college staff and students. During the interaction with students, he gave a patient listening to their issues.
    About the NSP Scholarship, the MP said he has closely monitored it right from the beginning and taken up the issues with higher authorities. He was hopeful that in the coming days the issue will be resolved and the students will receive their scholarship.
    The Member of Parliament also toured various facilities including the laboratory block, computer lab. He also took assessment of the arrangements made for the upcoming LAHDC-KSSRB examination which will be conducted in the college.
    Speaking on the occasion, EC Er Punchok Tashi acknowledged the effort and hard work of college administration and faculty members in the development of the college. He further assured to continue his support to the college.
