Market checking conducted in Padum, its adjoining areas

Kargil, November 13, 2024: On the direction of SDM Zanskar, a team of Sub Division Officers and officials headed by I/C Tehsildar, Sajad Hussain and SHO Zanskar, Stanzin Gyaltsen today conducted market checking in main market Padum and its adjoining areas.
During the checking, various general stores, restaurants, vegetable shops, meat and chicken shops were inspected and rotten vegetables, fruits and expired grocery products from general stores were seized.
The team issued strict instructions to shopkeepers and others to keep their shops and restaurants clean and well-maintained. The team included the Block Medical Officer, officials from FCS&CA, Animal Husbandry Department, Tourism Department, and personnel from the Ladakh Police.
