PM Shri Govt. High School Thasgam Drass celebrates its first Annual Day.

Kargil, Nov 26, 2024: PM Shri Govt. High School Thasgam Drass, in collaboration with Team Stringmo, today celebrated its first-ever Annual Day with great enthusiasm and grandeur.
The event was graced by SDM Drass, Vishal Attari, as the chief guest. Councilor Lower Drass, Abul Wahid, and Col. Sairam attended as guests of honour, while DPO Ajaz Ahmad and Principal DIET, Syeeda Banoo, joined as special guests.
The students showcased a variety of cultural and educational programs, which captivated the audience. The event began with a warm welcome as Mohd Saleem Lone, Headmaster of the school greeted the guests with traditional Khataks. Mohd Hussain Master delivered the welcome speech, setting the tone for the celebration. Mumtaz Kazimi presented a detailed report highlighting the overall performance and achievements of the school.
In recognition of their efforts, Councilor Abul Wahid announced a cash prize of Rs 2,00,000 for Team Stringmo, while on behalf of the Indian Army Col. Sairam presented an electronic podium to the school, marking significant contributions to its development. Additionally, Mohd Hassan, Physical Education Teacher, was honored for his outstanding contributions to sports at the school.
All the distinguished guests lauded the school’s initiatives and performances, commending both the students and staff for their dedication and hard work.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mohd Saleem Lone. The day turned out to be a memorable experience for everyone attending the program.
