Advisor Dr. Pawan Kotwal Chairs Crucial Meeting to Review Wildlife Department’s Special Development Project Progress in Ladakh.
Leh, November 29: Advisor Ladakh, Dr Pawan Kotwal, haired a significant meeting to evaluate the progress of the physical and financial progress report under Special Development Project (SDP) 2023-24, Capex, of wildlife Department.
During the comprehensive review, key officers provided updates on the progress of projects falling under the Hanle-Dark Sky Reserve, Entry Date, Planetarium, Astrodomes, and other New Scheme Projects for the year 2023-2024. The session also covered achievements related to the New Ladakh Home Stay Policy-2023 and pertinent wildlife issues, including the fencing of agriculture fields.
Reflecting on the diverse issues addressed during the review, Advisor Dr. Pawan Kotwal issued clear directives to ensure transparency in project execution and timely utilisation of allocated funds. He stressed the importance of implementing measures to prevent wasteful expenditure and underscored rigorous monitoring of project implementation, emphasising strict adherence to financial regulations.
Dr. Pawan Kotwal reiterated the importance of optimizing products procured by the UT Administration for the greater public welfare. He urged all concerned officers to give precedence to the completion of pending projects and highlighted the significance of adhering to specified timelines for new initiatives.
Furthermore, Dr. Kotwal emphasized the efficient utilization of funds during the current financial year. He directed officers to mobilize their manpower and resources to ensure the timely completion of developmental projects, delivering tangible outcomes on the ground. Advisor Kotwal underlined the importance of adhering to financial rules with unwavering commitment.
