CEC attends result declaration ceremony at Noon Public School Sankoo.
Kargil, Nov 04, 2023: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today attended the result declaration ceremony at Noon Public School, Sankoo.
Dr. Akhone, who has played a pivotal role in the early stages of this institution, was welcomed with great enthusiasm by the school management and students.
At the outset, Councillor, Thangdumbur Sankoo, Councillor, Lankerchey, Chairman Anjuman-e-Sahib Zaman, parents and students were present.
During the ceremony, the CEC extended his heartfelt gratitude to the school management for their dedicated efforts in nurturing educational excellence within the region. He commended their commitment to providing quality education to the youth of Sankoo.
In a significant announcement, Dr Jaffer assured the school administration to providing a school bus in the upcoming financial year, which will contribute to the convenience and accessibility of education for the students.
Furthermore, concerns were raised about staff shortage at the local hospital to which he informed the audience that a meeting was held recently with health authorities to address this issue and soon an advertisement will be issued for contractual medical staff recruitment.
In an effort to improve healthcare facilities, he announced that NHPC, under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), will provide a Mobile Unit for Sankoo hospital and a 10 KV solar lighting system, ensuring better medical services for the local community.
He informed his efforts to establish a full-fledged college in Sankoo which has already been taken up with the Governor. He expressed his determination to make this vision a reality during his tenure, enhancing educational opportunities for the region’s youth.
To support the growth and development of Noon Public School and other educational institutions in Sankoo, the CEC urged Councillor Sankoo to provide special consideration, aiming to transform Sankoo into a developed and model community.
Additionally, he reassured the people of Sankoo that if the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) fails to provide door-to-door water supply during the winter, he will personally work to facilitate all necessary needs for the residents.
Furthermore, he pledged to continue working tirelessly to improve education, healthcare, and overall living conditions in the region.
