CEC chairs review meeting on repair, replacement works under RKS/HDF of DH Kargil.
Kargil, January 27, 2025: Chairman/Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today chaired a review meeting to discuss repair and replacement works under RKS/HDF for District Hospital Kargil.
The meeting was attended by Chief Medical Officer Kargil, Medical Superintendent DH Kargil, Physician Specialist, Executive Engineer R&B, PHE, Project Director KREDA, District Information Officer and other concerned officers.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on various works done and progress achieved like repair/replacement of incinerator machine, pest and rodent control, construction of dental section, procurement of electrical, plumbing and carpentry items, refilling of fire extinguisher, purchase of x-ray films, installation of GI sheets and other related works.
The CEC Kargil instructed the CMO Kargil to expedite the identification of land at various locations for constructing staff quarters as soon as possible.
Dr. Akhoon also instructed the Medical Superintendent of DH Kargil to increase the number of beds in labor rooms to ensure seamless patient care.
The Medical Superintendent was instructed to inspect the attendant rooms and ensure adequate facilities. Additionally, he was directed to expedite the tendering process for the parking space.
Dr. Akhoon also instructed the Exen R&B to do the necessary maintenance work in the washroom of labor room.
