CEC Dr Jaffer inaugurates Kindergarten Playzone, School Library at PM SHRI Govt. Model High School Lankore.
Kargil, June 28, 2024: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon along with Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Shrikant Suse, today inaugurated Kindergarten Playzone, and School Library at PM Shri Govt. Model High School Lankore.
Councillor Town, Mohd Abass Adulpa; Chief Education Officer Kargil, SD Namgyal; State Nodal Officer, PM Shri School, UT, Ladakh; District Nodal Officer; Village Education Committee (VEC) members, Headmaster, staff, parents, and students were present during the event.
Addressing the gathering, the CEC congratulated the school faculty, particularly the VEC, for their support. He highlighted commitment of Council to enhance educational facilities
Dr Jaffer praised the public library initiative and its importance for the community. He outlined the efforts of the Council in education and assured continued support for future educational initiatives.
Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, Shrikant Suse, expressed his admiration for the school’s facilities and educational standards, sharing that he had enrolled his own child there.
He compared the school favourably to those in Delhi and Maharashtra. He stressed the importance of kindergarten learning for developing basic skills and social behaviour through games. He congratulated the school faculty, VEC, teachers, and parents for their collective efforts.
Councilor Town, Mohd Abass Adulpa also extended his congratulations and thanked the Council and district administration for their support. He highlighted various achievements and the ongoing initiatives.
Chief Education Officer, Kargil assured to address all the matters raised by students council, and informed that the kindergarten is approved under PM SHRI scheme FY 2023-24.
The President PM Shri Govt. Model High School Lankore also addressed the gathering. President of Student Council PM SHRI Govt. High School Lankore submitted a memorandum of demands. The program concluded with a vote of thanks.
