CEC Gyalson takes stock of Covid-19 situation in Leh district

Leh, June 02: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Advocate Tashi Gyalson, today reviewed the Covid-19 situation in Leh district with the concerned district officials.

Chief Medical Officer, Leh, Dr Motup Dorjay, apprised the CEC of the number of Covid-19 cases registered at the SNM Hospital and Mahabodhi. He also informed CEC about the decrease in Covid infections cases and the ongoing testing mechanisms in full swing.

The concerned officials also informed CEC Gyalson about the situation at quarantine and isolation centres and the effective surveillance mechanisms that are in place.
The officials also deliberated on the phase-wise process of lifting the Covid curfew restrictions gradually in the upcoming weeks keeping the Covid-19 scenario in mind.

District Magistrate, SSP, ACR, CMO, Tehsildar Leh attended the meeting.
