CEC Kargil chairs meeting with program Director of Golden Mile mentorship program to implement Reinforced Teacher Training in Kargil district.
Kargil, Sept 24, 2024: Chairman/Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today held a meeting with program Director of Golden Mile mentorship program to implement Reinforced Teacher Training (RTT) in Kargil district.
The meeting was attended by Executive Councilor, Zakir Hussain; Executive Councilor, Er. Punchok Tashi; Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Srikant Balasaheb Suse; Chief Education Officer Kargil; Principle DIET; Program Director Dr Neepa Oza besides other concerned officers were present during the meting.
The Program Director informed the meeting about the objectives of program which mainly includes capacity building of teachers, develop familiarity with NCERT books, foster skills to use appropriate teaching methodology, awareness about teaching English as a second language, gain more confidence in using and teaching English, develop key training techniques to support teachers.
CEC Kargil appreciated the vision of the Director of Golden Mile and said such training will be instrumental for the teacher fraternity in developing their skills and imparting knowledge to the students.
The CEC said LAHDC Kargil and District Administration will extend their full support to successfully implement the training program Zone wise in the district.
