CEC Kargil condoles demise of Haji Rangeen Ali.
Kargil, March 01, 2024: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today extended condolences on the demise of Haji Rangeen Ali, a respectable and prominent citizen of Kargil having contributions in political and business fields, who left for heavenly abode at the age of 94 in Jammu.
CEC said that Haji Rangeen Ali was known for his political and business career as his establishments played an important role in employment generation in Kargil.
The CEC added the deceased was among the first contractors registered with Military Engineering Services.
CEC Dr Jaffer extended his sympathy to his family, including his sons Haji Asgar Ali Majaz, Haji Fida Ali, daughter, brothers, Haji Hanifa Jan, District President National Conference Kargil and other relatives..
The CEC recalled his humanitarian effort and said during the 1980s Haji Rangeen, brother Haji Mubarek Ali and brother-in-law Haji Mohd Jaan, constructed Jaan Sarai in Karan Nagar Srinagar which provided accommodation for local traders and patients from Kargil when there was a lack of lodging options for the underprivileged in Kashmir.
“His contribution will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude,” the CEC said.
He stated that the passing of Haji Rangeen Ali is a significant loss for the people of Kargil, and the void left behind is irreplaceable.
The CEC also offered prayers that Almighty Allah (SWT) may grant the departed soul the highest place in the heavenly abode, and provide strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
Meanwhile, the Councilors of LAHDC Kargil also condoled the demise of Haji Rangeen Ali.
