CEC Kargil inaugurates Children’s Fest hosted by rZamba.
Kargil, August 24, 2024: rZamba today hosted the Children’s Fest featuring a day of educational and creative activities that engaged approximately 1,000 attendees, including students, teachers from various schools, and Village Education Committees (VECs) from Kargil. The event was celebrated as a unique and significant occasion in the region.
Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, inaugurated the event, commending rZamba for its impactful work in government schools. The closing ceremony was presided over by Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil, Kacho Mohammad Feroz underscored rZamba’s contributions to education and its positive impact on students’ lives.
Highlights of the event included exhibitions, puppet shows, shadow plays, project-based learning, and educational plays on important topics like “Good Touch, Bad Touch.” The festival also emphasized socio-emotional learning and featured rZamba’s core program, “Holistic Child Well-Being.”
The Children’s Fest provided a valuable opportunity for the community to come together, offering a platform for children to learn, express themselves, and enjoy a supportive and enriching environment.
