CEC reviews status of Shatsey-Takna and other bridges in Nubra valley

Leh Oct 16: The Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson convened a meeting today to review the status of works at the Shatsey-Takna Bridge and other sanctioned brides in the Nubra valley.
Executive Engineer, PWD Nubra sub-division apprised the Chairman of the present status of the construction works and gave a detailed presentation on the work done and upcoming plans for the completion of the said bridge. He also raised various challenges being faced in executing the work at the site due to the vast river spread at the sites.
Taking note of the concerns, CEC Gyalson directed the officials of PWD, I&FC division along with the executing agencies to collectively plan and timely execute all the projects in the region.
Dy Chairman/Councillor Disket, Tsering Angchuk, DC Leh, Shrikant Suse, Councillor Panamik, Tsering Sangdup, Councillor Tegar, Rigzin Lundup, DSE PWD Leh, CPO Leh, Xen PWD Nubra and various village representatives attended the meeting.
