Chairman of Reservation Commission for ALC-Ladakh Justice Bansi Lal Bhat Chairs Meeting on Village Welfare Near Line of Control.
The Chairman of the Reservation Commission for Actual Line of Control (ALC) Ladakh, Justice Bansi Lal Bhat (Former Judge of J&K High Court), presided over a significant meeting at the Conference Hall, DC Office, Leh.
The meeting focused on the identification of basic facilities in villages adjacent to the actual line of control in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Justice Bansi Lal Bhat shed light on the historical perspectives of the Constitution and the justice system, illustrating how these foundations have been pivotal in advancing the welfare of marginalized groups. He stressed that the commitment to justice and inclusivity is central to the ethos of the Indian Constitution, and no one must be left behind in the nation’s progress.
He emphasized the importance of ensuring the welfare of all residents, particularly those who have been overlooked in previous initiatives. He stressed that justice must be accessible to every individual, with no one left behind in the region’s development efforts. Justice Bansi Lal Bhat highlighted the legacy of the Indian Constitution, emphasizing its role in shaping India as a welfare state through its reservation policies. He emphasized the importance of these policies in ensuring social justice and equitable development for all communities, particularly those in remote areas.
Ensuring justice and equitable treatment for villages adjoining the Actual Line of Control (ALC), Justice Bansi instructed line departments to compile and submit detailed and accurate records of these villages.
