Com Secy Tourism convenes meeting to select PMU for Ladakh Tourism Dept.

Leh: Commissioner Secretary, Tourism, Rigzin Samphel today convened a meeting to review the Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Programme Management Unit (PMU) in the Tourism Department. The meeting was attended by Director, Accounts and Treasury, Tahir Hussain; Director, Tourism, Kunzes Angmo; Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Leh Development Authority (LDA), Sonam Chosjor; Assistant Director, Tourism, Leh Jigmet Namgial, and Assistant Director, Tourism, Kargil, Syed Tawha Aga.
The Department of Tourism had floated an EoI to engage a consultant/ project management unit for the tourism department to execute different projects. The objective of the meeting was to finalize the successful companies/ firms that qualify based on the terms and reference of the EoI.
Commissioner Secretary Samphel informed the meeting that all the five companies who have submitted their documents qualify for the further process.
