    Conduct of 2nd Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Assessment Test under New India Literacy Program on 6th August 2023 Allotment of CTET Centre for Students of UT Ladakh.

    Leh, 04 August: The Principal Secretary, School Education Department Ladakh, Sanjeev Khirwar, held a press briefing regarding the conduct of Second Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Assessment Test (FLNAT) and allotment of CTET centres for the students of Ladakh.
    Principal Secretary, Sanjeev Khirwar in his media briefing, about the target to achieve 100% Adult Literacy in UT of Ladakh by providing Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Education through critical life skills to all illiterate persons in the age group of 15 years and above. The Administration of UT Ladakh has identified 32042 illiterate population through an internal survey conducted by the School Education Department. According, 200 hours “study on the course FLN” have been completed to all Adult Learners under New India Literacy Progamme through literacy classes by Voluntary Trainers (VT). The Literacy class was started w.e.f April 2023 to July 2023. 1200 VTs have been engaged under the scheme for conduct of Literacy classes.
    The 1st Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Assessment Test has been conducted by Ministry of Education GOI in collaboration with NIOS n 19th March 2023 in UT of Ladakh.
    Addressing the media person Sanjeev Khirwar has informed that CBSE has allotted an examination center as per the present address given by the applicants in their online forms. The applicants who had filled in Leh and Kargil as their present address in their online form are allotted Leh and Kargil as their present addresses respectively, Further he has ask the applicant to approach Chief Education Officer Leh and Kargil if they have any issues regarding the examination centre.
