Cooperative Dept. distributes fresh vegetables in Khaltse sub division

Leh, Feb 25: Cooperative Department Leh distributed fresh winter vegetables to the villages of Khaltse sub-division through Cooperative Marketing Societies in consignment 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in presence of Incharge Assistant, Register Cooperative (ARC) Khaltse, Tashi Gyalson.

The vegetables were distributed in the villages including Dha, Baldef, Lasthang, Bhema, Saneth, Hanu Gongma, Hanu Yokma, Hanu Thang, Achinathang, Lehdoo, Urbis, Skurbuchan, Domkhar Barma, Domkhar Gongma, Domkhar Dhoo, Takmachik, Khaltse, Lamayuru, Wanla, Likir, Basgo, and Ney. Also, vegetables were distributed among the employees of the Khaltse sub-division.

A total of 3kg of fresh vegetables were distributed per household at Rs 50 per kg. The rest of the villages would be covered in the next consignment.
