Councillor Panamik takes stock of arrangement for Covid-19 in Nubra

Leh, May 05: Councillor, Panamik, Tsering Sangdup, today visited Nubra to take stock of the arrangements and preparations for Covid-19. He visited Sub-District Hospital (SDH) at Diskit at the behest of Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, to review the preparations and arrangements in Nubra sub-division. Sangdup later held a meeting with Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Nubra; Block Development Council (BDC), Diskit and Block Medical Officer at SDH, Diskit.

During the meeting, Councillor Sangdup inquired about the difficulties faced by the paramedic staff. BMO Dr Diskit requested Councillor Sangdup for a separate generator, sensor-operated automatic sanitiser dispensing machine, hand gloves, laryngoscope, separate flu OPD shade, downing/doffing area for the Covid dedicated hospital in Nubra.

Councillor Sangdup also visited the Covid vaccination centre at the Community Hall in Diskit.

Meanwhile, 140 government employees from different departments were given the first dose of Covid-19 jab in the Nubra sub-division.
