DC Kargil reviews arrangements for observance of Arbaeen E Hussaini.
Kargil, August 06, 2025: Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Rakesh Kumar today chaired a meeting to review the arrangements for the observance of Chehlum/Arbaeen E Hussaini procession in Kargil.
The meeting covered various arrangements related to Arbaeen-e-Hussaini, where in the DC Kargil instructed officers to ensure that all necessary facilities are made available to the public and emphasized the importance of unobstructed access for ambulances during the processions.
Key aspects discussed during the meeting included power supply, security, water supply, installation of water sprinklers at designated spots, deployment of doctors, availability of ambulances and medical facilities, traffic management, sanitation of congregational areas, and cleanliness along the Arbaeen procession routes.
DC Rakesh stressed the need to adhere to the procession schedule and ensure the active presence of volunteers for crowd management and support. He also appealed to all stakeholders to maintain order, discipline, and extend full support to the administration in ensuring a peaceful observance of the sacred day.
DC Kargil directed all concerned departments to complete preparations in a timely manner to ensure the smooth execution of the Arbaeen procession.
The meeting was attended by SSP Kargil, Shree Ram R, ADC Kargil Imteaaz Kacho, besides all concerned district officers and representatives of Jamiat Ul Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil and Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust Kargil.
