DC Leh Convenes Meeting to Celebrate World Water Day.

Leh, March 19, 2025: The Deputy Commissioner Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve, chaired a meeting today to discuss the celebration of World Water Day on March 22, 2025. The meeting, held at the Video Conference Room, DC Office Leh, aimed to finalize arrangements for various activities proposed to mark the occasion.
During the meeting, various activities were proposed including Water Source Cleaning, FTK, Water Lab Tests, School Painting Competitions, Nukkad Natak, Awareness Campaigns, Photo Exhibitions, and several other initiatives centered around the theme.
DC Leh directed the officers to make necessary arrangements for the events at various locations. He emphasized the importance of celebrating the day in line with the theme to maximize the impact of the message. Additionally, he instructed the District Panchayat Officer (DPO) to make arrangements for the Jal Shapat Pledge, across the district.
The meeting was attended by senior officials, including ADDC Leh, CPO Leh, Chief Education Officer Leh, District Panchayat Officer Leh, Executive Engineer PHE, AEE Water Testing Lab, Expert IEC JJM, and other officials.
