DC Leh inaugurates Murudok Road, inspects JJM works in Phyang village
Leh, July 26: Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Shrikant Suse, today visited Phyang village and inaugurated the newly completed Murudok Road. Councillor, Phyang constituency, Tundup Nurboo accompanied the DC.
DC Leh, Shrikant Suse congratulated the people of Murudok on getting Macadamised road connectivity in their village. DC, Leh expressed happiness over the timely completion of the road project which would reduce the travelling time for the villagers.
Councillor Phyang put forth various demands, such as strengthening of trekking routes, operationalisation of Ayush dispensary, installation of mobile towers. DC Leh gave a patient hearing to the demands and assured to resolve the issues in the shortest possible time.
Similarly, DC Leh inspected several works undergoing the Jal Jeevan Mission in the village. He was apprised about the electricity issues to lift the water from borewells to the village.
DC Leh also felicitated and interacted with the war veterans of the village, as today marks the 22nd anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas.
Executive Engineer, R&B, PWD; Assistant Executive Engineer, R&B; Sarpanch; Nambardar and villagers were present during the inaugural ceremony.
