Department of Political Science along with NSS unit GDC Nubra organises program under ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign.

Leh, August 11: Under the banner of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”, the NSS Unit and Department of Political Science, Government Degree College, Nubra, celebrated the “Meri Maati Mera Desh” campaign, an initiative by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to pay tribute to the courageous freedom fighters and individuals who made significant sacrifices for the nation.
The Programme began with a briefing by Assistant Professor Rinchen Angmo about the significance and objective of the campaign.
The Principal of Government Degree College, Nubra, Dr. Tsewang Motup then spoke elaborately about the nation’s journey of freedom and progress and how this campaign will instill a sense of national pride and inspire the future generations to protect India’s cherished heritage.
The event was followed by a Pledge taking ceremony and singing of the National Anthem by the faculty members and the students who participated enthusiastically in the program.
