Kargil, October 25, 2024 The Director of Social and Tribal Welfare (S&TW) today conducted a comprehensive review meeting with the District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO) to assess the functioning of various ongoing schemes and offices under the DSWO.
The meeting was held at the Directorate, S&TW and was aimed at ensuring the effective implementation of welfare schemes.
During the review, the Director meticulously examined the progress of the ongoing schemes, emphasizing the importance of addressing grievances promptly.
She directed the DSWO to prioritize the resolution of issues faced by beneficiaries and to enhance outreach efforts to ensure that the benefits of various schemes reach every nook and corner of the district.
The Director highlighted the need for a proactive approach in identifying and solving problems, encouraging the team to work diligently to improve the overall impact of the welfare programs. She reiterated the commitment of the S&TW to support the marginalized and vulnerable sections of society through efficient and transparent governance.
