District Admin Leh distributes free essential supplies to migrant labourers during Covid curfew

Leh, May 15: In the wake of the ongoing covid curfew in Leh district, the District Administration, Leh, today distributed free ration to 737 migrant labours at Skampari.
The District Administration distributed 1,474kg rice, 370 kg dal/pulses, 370 litres of cooking oil, masks and soaps to the migrant labourers. Each labourer got 2kg rice, ½ kg dal and ½ kg litre of cooking oil.
The free ration distribution initiative took place in the presence of Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Leh; Tehsildar Leh and officials from Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department and Bami Duniya Cooperative Society.
