District Hub for empowerment of women, Mission shakti, social &tribal welfare department kargil

Friday,8 february, 2025 : District Hub for empowerment of women, Mission shakti, social &tribal welfare department kargil, organized 20 days Ice Hockey training to more than 50 number girls under the banner of “BETI BACHAO BETI PADHAO ” Scheme at Khree Sultan Cho sports stadium from 22nd january to 8th feb.
The training has been concluded today on 8 february with a closing ceremony at Khree Sultan Cho sports stadium and it was joined by Joint Director youth and sports service UT Ladakh, Mr Tahir Hussain Zubdavi, District programme officer ICDS kargil Mrs Nargis Banoo, Distrcit youth and sports service officer kargil Mr Abid Ali, District coordinator Mission shakti kargil Mr Niyaz hussain, Gender specialist Mission shakti miss Aamina banoo, other staff members from District Hub for women empowerment, staff members from District youth and sports services, parents, childrens and participants.

During the event District programme officer ICDS kargil madam Nargis banoo gave a speech on importance of girls participation in sports activities and highlighted the importance of BBBP scheme. Mr Tahir Zubdavi Joint director youth and sports services also encouraged the participants for their active participation in sports and it’s future opportunities for both boys and girls in the field.
The event was being concluded by distributing price certificate and mementos to the respective coaches and meritorius girls .
