DLSA Kargil organizes legal awareness programme on rights of women, children

KARGIL, OCTOBER 14, 2021: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Kargil organized a legal awareness programme on the rights of women and children at Az Zahra Girls Home here on Wednesday.
On the occasion members of the Bar Association Kargil Advocate Haji Ghulam Murtaza, Advocate Zarina Banoo and Advocate Asgar Ali Yarkain enlightened the participants about various legal aspects related to the rights of women and children.
The speakers also spoke about various initiatives and activities of DLSA with regard to the rights of children and women folk.
Among others who were present on the occasion included Secretary Az Zahra Girls Home Muhammad Hussain Shabani, members of Az Zahra Girls Home, staff of District Court Kargil, Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs), students of Jamiat ul Batool and inmates of Az Zahra Girls Home.
Around 70 girl participants attended the legal awareness programme.
Meanwhile, the Secretary and members of Az Zahra Girls Home expressed gratitude to the DLSA Kargil for organizing the legal awareness programme.
