DLSA Leh organises awareness programme on Int’l Girl Child Day

Leh, Oct 11: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Leh, in collaboration with Tehsil Legal Services Committee (TLSC), Nubra, organised an awareness and outreach programme on the occasion of International Girl Child Day. The event was organised as a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations.
Chairman, TLSC Nubra, Wangial Tsering, welcomed the guests and participants. Advocate Dechen Angmo spoke on maintenance, whereas Advocate Rigzin Angmo talked about domestic violence.
DLSA Leh also recognised and felicitated three women achievers in various fields from Leh. DLSA Leh announced the winner of the essay competition held on October 4, in which school students had participated.
