    EC Feroz attends UT-Level Kala Utsav at TFC Kargil.
    Kargil, October 09: Executive Councillor, for Tourism, LAHDC, Kargil, Kacho Mohd Feroz today attended the UT level Kala Utsav that concluded here at TFC Kargil.
    Member of Parliament, Ladakh, Haji Mohd Hanifa Jaan; Director of the Sports Authority of India (SAI); Manjushree Dayanand, Chief Education Officer, Kargil; Principal DIET, and several renowned artists from Leh and Kargil were present on the occasion.
    In his address, EC Feroz congratulated the organizers for hosting Kala Utsav in Kargil and highlighted the role of education in enhancing students’ skills and potential.
    He praised participants and noted the exceptional talent displayed and emphasized that such programs should now aim for national and international platforms to showcase Ladakh’s rich cultural heritage.
    EC Feroz assured that the Hill Development Council Kargil would continue to provide opportunities to nurture the potential of students.
    He requested MP Ladakh to allocate financial support from the MPLAD scheme for promoting art and culture across Ladakh’s educational institutions.
    While responding to demand of creation of a dedicated gallery for exhibitions in Kargil, he assured to engage with Deputy Commissioner Kargil to explore the possibility.
    The EC also assured full support from LAHDC in promoting such initiatives and encouraged the media fraternity to amplify the region’s cultural richness through the medium.
    MP Ladakh also congratulated the students for their performances and expressed confidence in Kargil’s youth representing Ladakh at the national level. He motivated them to seize every opportunity to develop their talents.
    During the event participation from district toppers of Leh and Kargil, who showcased six art forms: visual arts, drama, storytelling, folk dance and vocal music.
    Nodal Officer for Kala Utsav, Sajjad Agha, while delivering the vote of thanks said that the Kala Utsav provided a platform for students to express their creativity and hone their skills.
