EC Kacho Mohammed Feroz chairs meeting with Superintendent ITI Kargil.

Kargil, Dec 15: Executive Councillor, Industrial Training Institute (ITI), LAHDC, Kargil, Kacho Mohammed Feroz today chaired a meeting with Superintendent of the ITI, Mohd Kazim in his office chamber at Council Secretariat.
At the outset of the meeting, the EC inquired about the diverse range of trades offered at ITI Kargil, along with discussions about the institute’s staff and guest faculty.
Recognizing the importance of equipping students with skills that are not only relevant but also lead to sustainable employment, the EC urged the Superintendent to explore employment avenues in both private and government sectors for graduates of these trades.
The EC directed the Superintendent to investigate various sectors, providing a comprehensive proposal outlining the reasons for its potential success, considering the existing human resources infrastructure.
Furthermore, the EC emphasized the creation of success stories among the beneficiaries and recommended mass publicity to showcase the institute’s achievements.
The EC assured for a personal visit to ITI Kargil. Additionally, the Superintendent was instructed to prepare a detailed case presentation, highlighting the institute’s achievements, challenges, and plans.
EC Feroz underscored the commitment to promote skill development, employment opportunities, ensuring that ITI Kargil remains at the forefront of vocational training and contributes significantly to the region’s socio-economic development.
