EC Tashi meets Col Paras Commander 13 BRTF of Project YOJAK at Pipiting Zanskar.

Kargil, Dec 16: Executive Councilor, RD&PRD, Forest/Wildlife , Cooperative, CAPD and Zanskar Development LAHDC Kargil, Er. Punchok Tashi today met Col Paras of 13 BRTF BRO at their HQ and discussed the latest progress of Nimmu-Padum-Darcha road and related activities.
He appreciated the engineers, machine operator, labourers and other staff for working amid severe cold for the project to accomplish the connectivity from Neraq to Chilling under the leadership of Commander 13 BRTF.
Paras briefed the Executive Councilor about the progress made so far towards Neraq sector which is expected to connect with Leh in early spring of 2024.
It was informed that the road from Padum to Shingkunla towards Darcha Manali shall be completed next summer with complete widening and macadamization.
EC Tashi requested for engagement of maximum local labourers in the project every year. He expressed gratitude to BRO for working day in and out for the welfare of the nation.
He also assured to provide all logistic support from Civil Administration and LAHDC Kargil.
