Kargil, August 13, 2024: Ahead of Independence Day, a full dress rehearsal was conducted today at Khree Sultan Chow Sports Stadium Biamathang, Kargil where ADC Kargil, Suhail Ahmed, hoisted the National Flag, took salute during march past besides inspected parade of contingents.
The rehearsal is a precursor to the actual Independence Day parade scheduled to be held on August 15 to present a glimpse of preparation for an impressive show of colourful events on National festival to exhibit pride of nation.
The dress rehearsal featured a diverse array of participants, including male and female contingents, ex-servicemen, school groups and the Band Party of Ladakh Police, showcasing the unity and discipline of the community.
Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mujeeb ur Rahman Butt, along with other senior officers from both Police and Civil Administration were present at the dress rehearsal.
Their presence underscored the importance of the rehearsal and the collaborative effort required for the event’s success.
The ADC also conducted a thorough review of various logistical aspects to ensure a smooth execution on the day of the celebration.
Later, SSP Kargil, Shree Ram R. reviewed all security arrangements at Khree Sultan Chow Sports Stadium, Biamathang, to ensure the smooth conduct of Independence Day celebrations.
These preparations are vital for ensuring that the Independence Day celebrations 2024 are conducted efficiently in the district.
